Decide what your priorities are in terms of ease of use through  customization. Most highly customizable platforms blogs, such as the type of furniture are a little more difficult to use than very automated platforms like wordpress. If you are new to blogs and Internet technology, you might need to sacrifice the ability to create a background or to integrate a unique  model to find a program that is easy to use. On the other hand, if you are a former web designer with knowledge in html or javascript, you will probably find the limits of usability of the platform to be frustrating.

However, the fact that two bloggers need the same thing from a platform of blogs can make your search to the platform a little more difficult. When you’re reading reviews of different platforms, try to keep your priorities in mind and do your best to take into account the position that the author is coming from. For example, a negative review written by a software designer who complains that popular platform is too limited in the sense, saying that the platform is ideal only for a beginning blogger. There is no such thing as the perfect platform for everybody, so Instead of seeking the “best” platform, look at the ideal platform for your criteria.

Documentaries or Personal Blogs?

Sunday, March 1st, 2009

When it comes to personal blog, documentary is the default gender. There are  blogs that serve other functions, but many blogs are primarily catalogs and the experiences of the life of the author. Although there are quite a few blogs that focus on collecting poetry and other forms of creative writing, the vast majority of personal blogs are in some sense documentary.

For many years, the act of making a documentary was supposed to be a note of the statement of vision and sounds like that the filmmaker, writer, photographer encountered. However, at times, there has been a global movement towards subjectivity inherent in the documentary form. This means that modern documentaries often reflect the characteristic the voice and sensibility of its creator. The fact is that today documentaries often revolve around personality blurring the boundaries between documentary and memoirs. Blogs rest somewhere between these two genres, dull distinctions even further. Personal blogs, documentary, and memoirs  are now irrevocably intertwined, for better or for worse.

Although some bloggers see themselves as documentaries in all the formal sense, every time someone sits at a computer and types an account of their day, they are on their own historical moment. The things we take for granted on our daily lives, such as how we use specific transport modes or types of products we buy, often seem quite fascinating to people who live in circumstances different from ours, and this kind of fascination  is at the heart of many documentary projects. When people think about blogging, documentary is very unlikely to be the first adjective that crosses their minds,  it is very likely that blogs are now considered mostly very subjective documentaries of our era.The people of tomorrow will almost certainly turn to the blogs today to better understand our history.

When it comes to blogging, documentary may not be the goal of most people who spend their time posting their thoughts and ideas on the Internet. In some respects, the documentary aspect of blogs is more than one side of the primary objective. However, the fact that many people are interested in publishing these public online diaries shows that personal blogs are more of rumination.  Documentaries appeal to people who are curious about other ways of life, and many people who regularly read others personal blogs are looking for this same kind of new perspectives.

In addition, users sometimes grow frustrated with the slow load times of files video on many blogs.

Whether you choose a video blog or not depends on the type of object you want to cover, and how much time you can devote to video blogs. Before deciding to pursue a video blog, investigate whether there is an easier way for you to get your message.
