Choosing a free blogging site canbe very confusing, because there are so many options. There are several major free hosting sites that dominate the blog blogosphere, but there are also smaller sites. If you decide to join a site like blogger or if you decide to sign with a relatively new venture it depends on your priorities.

Reliability is perhaps the best reason to opt for a large and well known, free blogging site. When you choose to have a host of brand name of your blog, you can feel ensure that your blog will not crash often and will not disappear in the middle of the night. A company that has been around for a while is likely to have the resources to ensure that its customers are not unpleasantly surprised by technical problems. However, many bloggers decide that this is not enough  outlet. The bloggers who choose to go with smaller, new sites hosting blogs for a variety of reasons, but perhaps the number one is an advantage rather abstract. Bloggers tend to appreciate that The Internet is a place where the smallest has a strong chance of success, and by the choice of having a small host society a blog, a blogger casts its vote for David against Goliath.
